Electric car pioneer ZAP (OTCBB: ZAAP) will be designing its cars to play and recharge the iPod and will preview the concept at the Macworld Expo, January 15-18 in San Francisco.ZAP says it will be designing its cars to include a head unit made for the iPod. ZAP cars would play music from the iPod through the car speaker system as well as recharge using the ZAP Recharge-It-All made for iPod battery system. ZAP will be previewing the concept at Macworld and says that the first cars equipped with this technology would be available later in 2008.
