Korean ship builder NOK-BONG Ship Building Co., Ltd. (NBS) has purchased 20,000,000 unissued shares of common stock in St. Lawrence Energy Corp. (OTC: SLAW), a Delaware corporation, at a price per share of $1.50, for $30 million.

Concurrently St. Lawrence Energy is making an investment in purchasing 400,000 shares of NOK-BONG common stock for $30 million. As a result, St. Lawrence now owns approximately 33% of NOK-BONG. Read the rest of this entry »

Cal Kantonen, Chairman of First American Scientific Corp. (OTCBB: FASC) is pleased to report the company has sold and shipped two KDS systems during the month of December 2007. An order for a third machine has also been received and the equipment is currently being fabricated. The first system was delivered to a group in Quebec, Canada for pulverizing construction waste and the second was delivered to a group in Mexico who plan to process agricultural waste and other biomass for use in their current business operations. VeraSun Energy Corp. (NYSE: VSE) and US BioEnergy Corp. (NASDAQ: USBE) today announced that the Federal Trade Commission has granted early termination of the waiting period under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act for the proposed merger between VeraSun Energy and US BioEnergy. O2Diesel Corporation (AMEX: OTD) today announced that the Karnataka Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) of the State of Karnataka in India has recently announced that it is switching the first 2,500 buses of its 5,162 bus fleet to O2Diesel™, an ethanol blended diesel fuel comprised of 7.7% of renewable ethanol and 0.5% of the O2Diesel’s proprietary fuel additive technology based on a successful trial of the fuel.
