New High Efficient Non-Corrosive Wet/Dry Fluid Coolers Use DuPont(TM) Caltrel(R) Plastic Tubing Coils

SAN ANTONIO–(BUSINESS WIRE)–July 11, 2006–PowerCold Corporation (OTCBB:PWCL) announced that the Company sold and delivered six 75 ton fluid coolers of the new PowerCold® Wet/Dry Fluid Cooler (WDFC) product line to an Air Conditioning Contractor in Honolulu, Hawaii. The Company was informed that the units are currently being installed at the 40-story Executive Center in Honolulu.

The new units are replacing worn-out corrosive cooling towers at the Executive Center. PowerCold’s equipment was chosen because the building owner wanted to save money on his power and water usage at a cost effective replacement price. The new system was designed using PowerCold WDFC products based on their low kw/ton cost and low water consumption.PowerCold’s PlexCoil®, a newly developed proprietary heat transfer tubing coil using DuPont(TM) Caltrel® engineered polymer materials (News Release October 11, 2005), is used in the new Wet/Dry Fluid Cooler (WDFC) product line. The energy saving units operate wet and dry — wet in hot weather and dry in cooler weather resulting in water savings up to 70%.

Because of the highly corrosive salt environment in Hawaii and other coastal areas PowerCold® believes its Fluid Coolers with PlexCoil® technology will have a life expectancy many times greater than equipment sold by other manufacturers. The Company is expecting additional sales in Hawaii for its highly efficient non-corrosive Fluid Coolers. The Company believes that its proprietary PlexCoil® technology will open up many new sales opportunities throughout coastal environments worldwide. The Company has developed its PlexCoil® technology for a range of products from a small residential unit to large commercial fluid coolers and for fan coils that operate in hotel rooms.

PowerCold Corporation designs, develops and markets unique HVAC products and systems for commercial use. The Company derives its revenues from two principal product line applications. The first is a line of proprietary energy efficient cooling products, including evaporative condensers and fluid coolers. The second is a proprietary integrated piping system for large commercial buildings that significantly reduces power costs and provides a clean comfort air environment.

PowerCold® and PlexCoil® are registered trademarks of PowerCold Corporation.

DuPont(TM) and Caltrel® are trademarks of DuPont or its affiliates and are used under license by PowerCold Corporation.
